Basketball Team

The Brocklewood Badgers!
The Brocklewood ‘Badgers’ basketball team will once again be taking part in the family of schools basketball league this year. They will also be taking part in the Nottingham City competition and the Nottingham City School League. Children that regularly come to basketball club, behave well in school and have the correct attitude towards winning and losing are more likely to be chosen to represent the school in a basketball match.

Results, Fixtures & Events

Friday 9th February – Basketball rally at Larkfields – The team took part in a fantastic basketball rally. In two very close games it was defeat against Ambleside but victory over Larkfields.

Friday 15th December – Basketball rally at Ambleside – Brocklewood were defeated twice by Ambleside at this rally. Two close games with Ambleside coming out winners.

Thursday 14th December – Family of schools basketball – Round 2. Brocklewood remain undefeated in this competition with 3 wins and of 3.

Friday 1st December – Basketball rally at Ambleside – The team took part in a rally against a number of schools. It was a great evening of basketball and although Brocklewood lost their 4 games they competed well.

Thursday 23rd November – Nottingham city basketball heats – The team took part in the city basketball heats at Nottingham Trent University. The team did brilliantly – winning 2 games, losing 2 games and drawing a game. They just missed out in qualifying for the next round.

Thursday 19th October – Family of Schools Basketball – Round 1. The ‘Badgers’ got off to a fantastic start in the family of schools basketball league with 2 wins and a draw.
